As a small family-owned business, we’re so glad that you love our trays and that they’ve been a helpful addition for your freezing needs. A vast majority of the people we employ are based in North America (including our legal team, accounting, graphic designers, web designer, and so much more), though we export manufacturing to China. This is also where our third partner and manufacturing expert lives full-time. We love our relationship with our factory - they provide their employees 4-6x the minimum wage and we have a company representative there 1-2 times a week inspecting everything. We also get all of our trays tested for food-safety by a third party agency on a regular basis. The factory also goes through inspections by third party laboratories. Our trays consistently surpass the requirements by the FDA for food-safety. If we were to move manufacturing to the US, it would sadly increase our costs substantially and make it financially impossible for most people to buy our products. We work hard to keep our prices low. Despite significant increases in costs, we've found ways to reduce the price on many of our products in 2023.
