Make-Ahead Breakfasts for People On the Go

Make-Ahead Breakfasts for People On the Go
Table of Contents

For go-getters and people on the run, having a hot and ready homemade breakfast can not only be a time saver - it can be a life saver too! Skipping breakfast may work for some, but definitely not for all. And rushing through breakfasts - i.e. grabbing a bagel or a muffin - can be quick, but not necessarily nourishing nor satisfying.

By batch-prepping breakfasts into ready-to-eat portions ahead of time with Souper Cubes®, you can have your first meal of the day ready to go for months on end, if you freeze them (Souper Cubes® trays are very freezer-friendly). So from make-ahead breakfast casseroles to quiche, French toast and more, here are some of our favorite breakfast meal-prep ideas you can freeze and even bake in your Souper Cubes® trays to have morning meals ready to go.

Steps for Prepping & Freezing Breakfast Casseroles & Quiches With Souper Cubes®

TATER TOTS IN SOUPER CUBES 2-CUP TRAY
    • Bake in our 1-Cup or 2-Cup trays (without the lid). You can skip any cooking spray or oil as our food-grade silicone is already nonstick!
    • Let the casserole or quiche fully cool.
    • Label the lid (with either masking tape or a water-based paint marker), place it tightly on the tray, and store in the freezer. You can transfer the breakfast into a freezer-safe bag once frozen through.
    • To thaw or reheat, we recommend placing the casserole or quiche in the refrigerator the night before. If you forget, that's okay! You'll just need to add some extra time for it to reheat. You can either microwave until warm or place in a 325°F oven. We love using our Baking Dishes to reheat frozen casseroles and quiches.
    • Enjoy your delicious breakfast!
